Network Reliability Blazer Network has multiple direct gigabit ethernet connections multiple tier 1 providers. Our advanced routing and peering agreements ensure that no down time is ever seen on our network. With services such as Network Redundancy you can rest assured that your site will not see any downtime. Industry analysis reveals that 70% of downtime over ten hours with any ISP is caused by telephone circuit failure. We avoid this problem by not relying on telco circuits and by going straight over gigabit ethernet cables run on private networks. This ensures that we can have repair personal on scene 24/7 to repair these connections. There is effectively no circuit between us and our upstream providers and peers. Instead, there are multiple direct ethernet connections between our routers and theirs.Network Redundancy Blazer Network takes advantage of intelligent routing both on our routers and even at our upstream providers. We utilize both BGP4 and OPSF between our providers. Internap our main provider uses BGP4 across 9 different upstream providers before even reaching our routers. This ensures instant failover protection as well as your customers being able to reach your site in the fastest amount of time. BGP identifies which path is the most efficient for each data packet and then routes the packet to its destination on the fastest path. This increases the speed at which web pages sent from our server arrive at their destination. Studies have shown that the most common reason for downtime is circuit failure on Tier 1 provider backbones, the major data highways. To guard against this potential problem, we utilize nearly a dozen Tier-1 providers. If one experiences problems, traffic is automatically moved to the other ones. Through these public exchanges, customers have the ability to reach their site, no matter from where they are coming on the Internet. |
